been an editorial and commercial photographer for nearly twenty years. David is the author of several print books and numerous eBooks on photography and digital photography. An national and international photographic instructor, David developed and ran the twenty-stop Aperture Road Tour and the 15-stop Aperture Intensive classes for professional photographers, and co-developed and taught the Blue Pixel Just Show Me How tour for beginning photographers.
David has been a photographer since the age of three, when his father (a commercial photographer) gave him a Nikon EL and some lenses. Many, many rolls of film were developed from that camera, and he continued his love of photography through college, where he served as the photo editor of his university’s newspaper.
For nearly two decades David has shot adventure sports, travel, editorial assignments, weddings (which he likes best because everyone is so happy) and family photography.
